Below are some of my favorite pieces of art that I painted.
"My Lovebirds"
Oil Painting
My father was a highly awarded artist. He had become very popular and received proclamations from townships and honored at various events. I once asked him why he never taught me to paint.
He replied: "Because you never asked me". I realized I never showed interest, and he saw it.
So, I replied: "Well I'm asking now".
In the following days he bought me paints, brushes and a canvas.
Then he told me if I had any questions ask him.
I started to paint and realized that I had been watching how he painted over the years. I knew exactly how to draft an image, blend the paints and create a finished work of art.
I guess the fruit never falls far from the tree.
